Report: China mulling over buying stakes in Russian energy firms
MOSCOW, Mar 9 (PRIME) -- China is considering buying or raising the stakes in the Russian energy and raw material companies, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday citing sources.
According to the sources, Russian gas giant Gazprom and aluminum producer RUSAL are among the assets in which China is interested.
The Russian authorities are discussing potential deals with the state-run companies, such as China National Petroleum Corp., China Petrochemical Corp., Aluminum Corp. of China and China Minmetals Corp.
